Welcome Post

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my page, I have been waiting so long to do this. The only thing that had been stopping me was, myself! I was introduced to Holistic Health at a very young age, and I have learned various alternative health modalities and ways of living “Holistically”.

I have gone though many stages of my life where I take “being holistic” serious, and other stages where I just completely fall off the train and find it impossible to pick myself back up. I’m here to tell you, that it only takes only little change, one day at a time. I’m here to tell you that it’s okay.

As a mother of four, I’m a part of a lot of “crunchy” mom groups online. I’m not here to bash these women, in fact I look up to them and respect a lot of them. Sometimes though, I have personally felt it impossible to keep up and live a fully holistic life for my kids. I don’t have my own farm, I don't grow my own food, and in this economy it has felt impossible to keep up with all the vitamins and supplements “you're suggested to take”.

It all starts with one day, one change. That’s it, don’t get overwhelmed by everything online and it’s not just online it’s in stores as well. Let’s break down what Holistic Health means, holistic medicine focuses on the whole person. Mind, body and soul. Instead of treating one condition, or body system; holistic health takes your WHOLE body into consideration.

When we talk about the whole body, mind, and soul, what does soul mean to you? We all are aware of the power our MIND holds, the brain is very complex and it’s constantly in tune with our body. Is your mind okay? These have been questions I’ve asked myself when I’ve fallen off the train. It is very important to hold a balance within, and that’s simply what Holistic Medicine means to me.

You don’t need to be exclusively shopping at natural grocery markets, you don’t have to be exclusively eating organic, or drinking moon water and have your house covered in healing crystals to live a holistic life. I am also not promoting nonorganic food, however if you do not have the means to provide yourself with organic food, vitamins and supplements, all that crap DON’T FEEL BAD! Don’t get offended by me calling it “crap” but it is what it is.

When you’re new to this way of living sometimes you can feel like all of this is necessary but it is not, what is necessary is that you analyzed the changes you need to make in your life to live healthier and more holistically. From that point, start working your way up the totem pole with good intention. Figure out what is on top of YOUR totem pole, and manifest it.
